क्रेडिट कार्ड और डेबिट कार्ड यूज करने वाले कार्ड होल्डर्स के लिए एक अक्टूबर से नियम बदल गए हैं। रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (RBI) का कार्ड-ऑन-फाइल टोकनाइजेशन (CoF Card Tokenisation) नियम आज से लागू हो गया है। अब paytm , flipkart , Amazon इत्यादि ग्राहकों की कार्ड से जुड़ी जानकारी को स्टोर नहीं कर सकेंगे। टोकनाइजेशन सिस्टम लागू करने का उद्देश्य ऑनलाइन बैंकिंग फ्रॉड को रोकना है।
RBI का कहना है कि टोकनाइजेशन सिस्टम के लागू होने के बाद कार्ड होल्डर्स के डेबिट कार्ड और क्रेडिट कार्ड के ट्रांजेक्शन पहले की तुलना में और ज्यादा सिक्योर हो जाएंगे साथ ही साथ ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड से भी बचा जा सकेगा और उनका पेमेंट करने के एक्सपीरियंस में सुधार आएगा।
क्या है ‘टोकनाइजेशन’ सिस्टम? what is a card tokenization System ?
Tokenisation credit card और debit card का अति संवेदनशील डेटा को एक यूनीक टोकन से बदलने का प्रोसेस है। टोकनाइजेशन के बाद आपको अपने कार्ड की डिटेल्स किसी भी थर्ड पार्टी ऐप के साथ शेयर नहीं करनी पड़ेगी। परन्तु अभी ऐसा नहीं है, अभी अगर आप ऑनलाइन शॉपिंग करते हैं या कैब बुक करते हैं तो आपको भविष्य के ट्रांजैक्शन को आसान बनाने के लिए कार्ड की डिटेल सेव करनी होती है।
कार्ड डिटेल सेव होने के बाद अगले ट्रांजैक्शन में आपको केवल तीन अंकों का cvv और OTP नंबर दर्ज करना पड़ता है और कुछ ही सेकंड में पेमेंट हो जाता है। लेकिन, इससे फ्रॉड होने का खतरा बना रहता है। अगर वह वेबसाइट या ऐप हैक हो जाए तो कार्ड डेटा भी हैकर के पास चला जाता है। टोकनाइजेशन सिस्टम से ऐसा नहीं है।
टोकननाइजेशन प्रोसेस में आपके कार्ड से जुड़ा टोकन हर एक मर्चेंट के लिए अलग-अलग होगा। टोकनाइजेशन के बाद अगली बार जब आप उस वेबसाइट या ऐप से पेमेंट करेंगे तो आपको अपने कार्ड के नंबर के केवल आखिरी चार डिजिट दिखाई देंगे, जिसपर आप क्लिक करके पेमेंट कर सकेंगे।
क्यों शुरू की जा रही है नई व्यवस्था?
कई शॉपिंग वेबसाइट और ऐप आपसे कार्ड डेटा स्टोर करने को कहते हैं। इससे खरीदारी में सुविधा होती है। क्यों की हर एक बार आपको पूरी कार्ड डिटेल नहीं डालनी पड़ती है जैसे कार्ड नंबर , CVV , एक्सपायरी डेट ,लेकिन यह वेबसाइट या ऐप हैक हो जाए तो आपका आपका पैसा चोरी हो सकता है। अगर आपके डेटा की जगह एक यूनिक टोकन नंबर दिया जाए तो खरीदारी तो आसानी से हो जाएगी, और डेटा चोरी का खतरा खत्म हो जाएगा।
एक टोकन का इस्तेमाल क्या हर जगह हो सकता है? Can one token be used everywhere ?
